NCC wins orders worth ₹2,327 crore in September, the highest in at least four months
NCC Ltd., a portfolio stock of Rekha Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, informed the exchanges that it has won orders worth ₹2,327 crore for the month of September 2024.
Out of these orders, ₹1,417 crore orders belong to the transportation division, ₹520 crore belong to the Electrical division and another ₹390 crore belong to the Buildings division.
These orders have been received from state government agencies and private companies and do not include any external order, NCC said in an exchange filing.
The quantum of orders won by NCC in September are the highest in at least four months. The company had won orders worth ₹1,236 crore in August, ₹1,919 crore in July and another ₹335 crore in June this year.
NCC had won orders worth over ₹3,000 crore in March this year.
Promoters of NCC held a 22% stake in the company at the end of the June quarter. Rekha Rakesh Jhunjhunwala held a 10.63% stake in the company.
Mutual Funds of India own a 9.84% stake in NCC, while small shareholders, or those with authorised share capital of less than ₹2 lakh had a 21% stake.
NCC is yet to disclose its shareholding for the quarter that ended on September 30.
Shares of NCC are currently trading 2.2% higher post the announcement at ₹308.5. The stock has risen 85% so far in 2024.
